These girls, Saoirse, Jodi, Aoife, Eva and Maeve, also known as ‘The Wildflower Girls’ are from the local St Colman’s National School Ballindaggin and are all 5th Class Students.
They have made it through to the final of the Eco UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards which take place on May 23rd next. Their project is on Biodiversity and saving the bees. We are lucky enough that these girls visited us today as we are promoting the Hozelock ‘Pledge to Plant a Pot’ campaign this summer season. We were delighted to provide them with some pots and flowers to help in their campaign. A big ‘Thank You’ also to Hozelock for their sponsorship in providing the girls with some lovely gifts to help in their journey for a better world.

Well done girls you have achieved so much already and created a better planet for the humble bee. We wish you well in your final on the 23rd but truthfully you are all already winners..

Best of Luck from all at Smyths Homevalue and the team at Hozelock. 🐝
