Returning an Order
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please read the information below before sending it back.
Standard Returns
- Returns for change of mind must be requested within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unused and returned in their original condition and packaging.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Refunds are processed after the returned goods have been received and inspected.
Faulty or Damaged Items
- Please report any breakages or damages within 24 hours of delivery.
- If an item is faulty, contact us immediately.
- We may offer a replacement, repair or refund depending on the issue.
- If the error is ours, we will also refund the applicable delivery charge.
Paint Returns
Mixed Paints
Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Paint & Paper Library, Colourtrend, Dulux, Fleetwood and Tikkurila paints are mixed specifically to your chosen colour and finish.
As these products are custom-made to your specification, they cannot be returned for change of mind, incorrect ordering or colour selection.
We strongly recommend purchasing tester pots before placing larger paint orders.

Pre-Mixed Paint & Samples
- Unopened pre-mixed paint can be returned.
- A €10 restocking fee applies per can returned.
- Tester pots and paint samples are non-refundable.
- Products must be unopened and in original condition.

Step 2
Select "Continue as Guest"
Step 3
Choose "Smyths Homevalue"
Step 4
Complete your details, print your label and drop the parcel to your nearest DPD Pickup Point.

We recommend using a tracked or registered postal service as customers are responsible for items until they are received by us.
Important Information
- Electrical products with broken security seals cannot be returned.
- Refunds are normally processed within 30 days of receiving approved returns.
- Until returned goods have been received, replacement products may remain chargeable.
- Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
